Yesterday I posted a pair of images, one of Blonde Sable and one of Crimson Fox and then posted a poll asking all of you which heroine you liked best or if they were equally liked. Sable has run away with the poll overwhelmingly with a lead of 42% to 25% with 33% of you picking both.

Here is the part I don't understand the Blonde Sable image currently has 589 views and 23 likes, the Crimson Fox image that posted at the same time has 1.1K views and 46 likes. The complete opposite of the current poll.

Maybe I am reading to much into all of this, but regardless I want to say thank you for the amazing response to the images and poll. You are all awesome!

Hey all,

It's been a while and yes I am still alive, well let me check... OUCH!! Yep still alive. It has been a really crazy year, I have been radio silent for most of it so I thought it might be a good idea in the waning hours of 2023 to say hi.

So what have I been up to... Let's see, where to start? Well we all know about what is going on over here in the Middle East and yes we have been affected by that here, I really can't say to much more than that due to OPSEC reasons. We are safe and there have been no injuries here, I am being careful for many reasons... The main one being I haven't tormented my wife and kids near enough to die and leave them my life insurance money!

In other news that can be filed under the "ARE YOU CRAZY OR JUST FUCKING STUPID?" category I celebrated 19 years in Iraq on 03 Dec this year and will probably be here for a few more... I am not sure if you are all aware of this or not but finding jobs with qualifications such as Bucker diving with style, 60MPH IED pothole avoiding, and the 100 yard dash in 50 pounds of body armor are really hard to find state side. Maybe one day I will find something back home but for now it is really hard to walk away from a steady paycheck.

My work load over here has been a nightmare of trying to intergrade new systems into an existing system that is two generations older than what it is designed to work with, and as you can imagine it is a serious buzzkill for any kind of creativity after work. I also had to get a new laptop after my last one that was barely three years old blew its mother board. Now I have a new laptop with a lightning fast RTX4050 in it but now I have to deal with Win 11... and that in itself is a fucking mess all its own.

If I seem to be rambling and running in all different directions at once, I apologize. I haven't been on DA all that much, well other than posting a couple of images. I do have a new image to post that will be the last image I post of 2023 made with my new laptop to test it out.

In closing, I want to wish that that still watch and follow me, a safe and happy end to 2023 and a wish that we can have a brighter 2024.

I will close out 2023 with a small pearl of wisdom... never jump scare someone holding a large knife.

For many of us today September 11th is remembered as the moment where terrorist turned four commercial airliners into cruise missiles in order to start a holy war and kill 2,977 fellow humans. I can still remember the gut punch and the feeling of shock as we were told of the attack.

On that particular September 11th it was a Tuesday around 11:15 in the morning in Hutchinson Ks., I was in the middle of weapons qualifications and was standing on the 10 yard line with my pistol in my hands firing 6 rounds strong hand at a paper target when the cease fire. After holstering our weapons we were instructed to move to the range house for an announcement. I remember thinking that I didn't hear any of the normal alarms associated with an emergency at the prison, once we were inside we were briefed on the attack. Someone in the back of the room turned on the radio to a local station as the announcer recapped that both World Trade Center towers had been hit and collapsed causing an untold number of deaths that were expected to be in the tens of thousands.

My first thoughts were disbelief and shock that quickly turned to anger as the day went on and more news came out about the Pentagon and flight 93 that crashed into a field in Pa. As the day progressed, the instructors started piping the news over the range intercom as we continued our requals. A usually loud and boisterous group that generally bragged over our daily scores were subdued and mute as we cleaned weapons and listened to the days events on the radio at the end of the day.

September 11th 2001 wasn't just an attack on America, it was an attack on Western civilization as a whole. It was felt by everyone, I remember the outpouring of support and the aid that was rendered to the city of New York from all over the world. For a short time it brought not only American's but people from all over the world closer, if only for a short time. It started me on the career path that I am still a part of almost 19 years later.

I am not going to debate the wars that followed or the actions taken by this country or that country, that is not for this day. Today is for the 2,977 people that died as a result of terrorist actions instigated by one person who I will not dignify with repeating his name. I would like to ask my friends and everyone that follows my page to please take 5 seconds, that is 1/12 of a minute to remember the events that changed the world we all live in today.

RagingCyc0ne OC Andy finds out that telling Blonde Sable nonstop short jokes is the best way for her to stop using her darts and go straight to pistol whipping.

Now we come to the one and only Nathanomir every year he tries to out do himself and every year he succeeds. This year it is the battle of the Crimson hotties, Crimson Fox, yes she isn't a redhead but crimson is in her name so it counts and Stephanie Ashe AKA Whysper, the telepathic bondage babe... Who will win? Why we do of course!

Next we have Mcrocks who has Crimson Fox teaming up, captured and put on display with the Freedom Belle's. Who is their mysterious captor and will they escape to fight again?

And last but not least we have PDSmith with yet another amazing image of Crimson Fox, this time combining Crimson fox and my love of Star Wars to create a Crimson Fox Sit and her loyal droid R6-D4. Any guess what my newest background Image is?

I also want to send out a special thanks to devduck01 and DA's favorite pigtailed artist Dimples-Bratt for the awesome gift. You two are the best!

Well another year has snuck up on me and kicked me in the nuts while I was brushing my teeth and wondering where the hell all this grey hair in my goatee came from. As Indiana Jones once said, "It ain't the years, it's the mileage." And this old farm truck has seen a lot of miles, but its still going strong... Just don't kick the tires to hard!

It has been a relatively quiet but stressful year since the start of the last rotation, and it has sucked the desire to do a lot of things and my posting here has suffered for that. Despite that I still see a lot of fav's and comments on my work and I thank everyone for that. I have also seen an increase in requests to use my characters and I was a bit surprised that for the first time Crimson Fox has edged out Blonde Sable in that department.

Surprisingly, I have been working on a story idea based on Crimson Fox in a fight with her clan to keep her Kitsune spirit.

I have received several images as presents from artists here on DA and will be posting them as well as posting a journal in the next few days showing off all of the amazing work gifted to me.

On a more serious note, I have accepted a new job posting which will require me to move to the mountains of Eastern Europe, strip naked and grow my back hair out and take on the role as the Silver-backed Sasquatch of Eastern Europe. The pay is amazing but I hear the living conditions leave much to be desired as my cave will have no indoor plumbing or shower facilities.

As I am currently sitting in my room during my lunch break I will keep this short,Thank you all for the birthday wishes and presents and in the immortal words of Bill and Ted... The original ones not the horrible remakes... Be excellent to each other... And party on Dude's and Dudette's!!
