This IS the droid we are looking for ...

I have always been a huge Star Wars fan, and since I have worked in Poser I really haven't touched on it much, while searching the internet for a really cool color scheme for an R2 unit that would fit with being owned by my two new Sith OC's I ran across something that stopped me dead in my tracks and actually made me rethink what I was doing. I could go into a long drawn out monologue of what the article said but why don't I just link it and you can read it yourself.  www.themarysue.com/r2-kt-pink-…   I had never heard of the R2-KT project and after reading the story it made me take a whole new approach to what I was doing. So in honor of the real R2-KT and what she stands for I created my own R2-KT to use in my Star Wars images. I also found R2-KT's home page if you haven't seen it yet.   www.r2kt.com/   I have no connection with the 501st, R2-KT or the Make a Wish Foundation, I just wanted to share a story that was both heartbreaking and uplifting at the same time.

While thinking about the best way to show her off I hit on the idea of using one of the most well know scenes in from 'A New Hope'? I know you all know which scene I am talking about ...  That's right! That iconic scene with Ben, Luke, C-3PO and R2 and a squad of Stormtroops asking about droids.  So flanked by a Scout Trooper My Sith Togruta and her Sith Chiss companion and book ended by a Stormtrooper. I hope to use R2-KT again in the future and hope that in some way I do the concept and idea of this special little droid and her story justice.
