Description
Standing backstage at the talent show Amanda fidgeted nervously as Claire finished singing her song. "Thank you everyone, it is an amazing pleasure to be the host of this year’s Annual 'Racks View's Got Talent Christmas Special' Our next contestant is a new comer to our community ..." Claire lets out a little giggle. "And according to her application, her first time singing outside of the shower." The crowd gives an amused laughs and gives applause. Backstage Amanda blushes and buries her face in her hands as she thinks to herself. "Why did I have to put that on the application?"
"Ladies and Gentlemen lets give a warm Racks View welcome to Amanda! ... *Claire steps off the stage clapping as Amanda peeks around the curtain and hearing the louder applause steps out slowly at first wearing a red velvet and white fur Santa's dress with heeled boots with fur trim and topped with a Santa's hat. Feeling the spot light focus on her she moves a little quicker as she makes her way to the mic. "tha ..Thank you Miss Dawkins for the introduction ... What can a girl say other than it's kind of hard to follow such an act such as yours." "She pauses as the crowd claps and cheers.
Claire waves from the Judges table and leans closer to her mic. "Thank you Amanda, but I am just a resident of Racks View, I am sure you will do well. Can you tell us what you are going to sing for us tonight?"
Amanda clears her throat and puts her hands behind her back. "I am going to sing So this is Christmas by John Lennon." Amanda is surprised at the applause and Claire gives a smile and a slight nod as the music starts.

And a new one just begun …
The crowd listens as she sings and sits surprised as she trials off as if lost in though. She stands looking at the back of the theater swearing she feels something familiar. She snaps out of it as the music dies, but before Claire or the other judges can say anything she clears her throat and begins anew singing Acapella.

Almost as if waking from a dream Amanda looks around at the silent theater. The crowd remains silent for a moment, many wiping their eyes as the clapping starts slow at first, a few standing up and are soon followed by more. Claire dabs her eyes and claps as she stands and smiles as the other judges follow suit. Soon the entire theater is standing while Amanda looks at them completely at a loss for words as she looks up as the presence she felt fades and disappears. Amanda bows her head to hide the single tear falling down her cheek and whispers just enough that the microphone picks it up. "I love you ..."
